Tissue3D
Tissue3D is a Mathematica package that represents tissues as graphs composed of vertices, edges, faces, and cells; access to any part of the data structure; create, add, and remove any compartment; volume, mass, and center of mass calculations; and building larger structures from smaller structures. It includes a finite element library, including hexahedral, hexahedral edge, and tetrahedral elements; beveled cubes; gaussian quadrature; stiffness matrix; building of hexahedral elements from tissue vertices; calculation of body forces through turgor pressure; simulation; cell divison; compartmentalizaiton; and calculation of the center sof faces, edges, and cells. Simulation includes solution of ordinary differential equations, cell division, and cell tracking during cell growth and shape transformations.
